I am currently working on a new idea, I thought it would be interesting to try making the cone shape as smooth and perfect as I can make it with a view to that part being finished with a bright yellow or blue shiny glaze and then adding a textured part to one side which would stay off white and rough. These images are work in progress, the textured part needs some refinement but overall the idea works well. I have also included a picture of the previous piece with slip on. I am looking forward to these pieces finally drying out so I can start glazing. I also want to get them outside to see how they weather.
