This all looks very interesting – my wife works in the Wiltshire History Centre and they have a huge archive similar to the one you appear to be working in. They have conservation workshops and perform painstakingly detailed reconstruction on a whole range of artefacts.
Hope the MA is progressing well – if you’re ever in Corsham pop into the studio – I’m still there in the cellar – but will need to sign up for a PhD to keep my space.
