I spent three days working with Julian Stair in February, what an amazing experience this was, not only in understanding the process of producing large scale work but also learning to value what I do as a maker.

Julian is working towards an exhibition called Quietus at MIMA in July. The work is addressing notions of containment after death. The pieces already have a powerful presence laid out as they are in the brick factory, I am very much looking forward to seeing them on display.
